All of you try at least once in your life to fulfill your heart desire with full determination so that if you succeed you can tell every body i am the person who wants to do this,and now see what i get.But by your bad luck if you can't succeed in your mission then you are satisfied with yourself that you tried your best.And in future you can transform all you energies in your child and try to take him away from those habbits and reasons by which you failed to get your aim..
And in my opinion live give at least one chance to every person to improve him and his standard of life..Allah give him chance repeatedly but by our bad luck .We can't understand and disappoint from our life.It is gift not a punishment.Take care of your life because it have many links with many other people like your parents your children your wife your friends your relative etc...
